Everyone deserves a warm meal this Thanksgiving...and thanks to our team of volunteers, and donors we were able to give a special meal to 55 families.
Each family received our usual ACRT box of produce, staples including masa, rice and oil, and chicken but got additional Thanksgiving surprises including 1 turkey, hot prepared meals, bread, 1 gallon of horchata, and a pack of face masks to stay safe.
We are so grateful to our volunteers who helped us keep our family fed for the holiday weekend.
We also want to give special recognition to La Casita Pupuseria, and El Comalio who prepared meals for our families.
Special thanks to the Phi Chapter of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Inc. for co-sponsoring the distribution, and supporting us with volunteer drivers.
